What is the meaning of “Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.

Many of us, when young, have looked into the big bad world and decided to do something about it. Many of us, once, have decided to change it. We wanted to make things different, better. Then life happened to us all. We went out into the same big bad world with a determination to change it and then realised that it’s not just tough but also next to impossible.

Life shows us many ways. We are twisted and turned, tossed and dropped and each blow makes us wise. It makes us see inside us. It makes us think what can be done to protect ourselves. The lessons from life make us change ourselves to gain better adaptability and that’s what we do instead of changing the world. Life teaches us differently.
